Project Description: Castle Hill Cross Over Cavern is a part of a $8.3 billion North West Rail Link project, which is a 15km long twin tunnels designed to connect Sydney’s northwest suburbs to the city.
Scope Of Work: ZWC was commissioned to construct the 20.5 metres wide by 159 metres long caverns with two different cross-sections. The cavern lining is 500mm thick and reinforced with steel rebar up to the construction joint above the lower wall.
